Vietnam & Angkor Winter Family Holiday

This is a perfect package for family travel to Vietnam and majestic Angkor temples in Cambodia. The trip starts from Hanoi then to seclude Halong Bay, going through many highlights of the country including Nha Trang beach city, bustle and hustle Saigon – Ho Chi Minh City, legendary Cu Chi tunnel then to Siem Reap - Cambodia with the majestic Angkor temple. The trip is special designed to meet the unique demands of the family travel with kids.
Day 1 Arrival in Hanoi (D)
Transfer via: International flight at your own arrangement
Accommodation: Quoc Hoa Hanoi hotel – 3 stars in the center of Hanoi’s Old Quarter
Room type: Family Deluxe room (01 double bed + 2 single beds)
Up on arrival in Hanoi, we will be welcome by a local tour guide; and then transfer to hotel. Check in and relax. In the evening, we enjoy our welcome dinner at a fine local restaurant in town. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2 Hanoi – city tour (B, L)
Accommodations: Quoc Hoa Hanoi hotel
Room type: Family Deluxe room (01 double bed + 2 single beds)
Sites visited: Ho Chi Minh Complex, Temple of Literature, Museum of Ethnology, Old Quarter of Hanoi, Water Puppet Show
Today we start our one day city tour from the lobby of the hotel. We will drive to Ho Chi Minh Complex, where we will spend a couple of hour to visit: Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh museum and one pillar pagoda. Keep going to see the Temple of Literature.
Lunch will be at a fine local restaurant in Hanoi.
In the afternoon, we will visit one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam; Museum of Ethnology. Following by that we will wander around the city by car to see the real life of Hanoi an as well as the difference parts the city.
After that we will take one-hour cyclo around the Old Quarter, known as the 36 streets, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers.
Before we go back to hotel, we will have chance enjoy the unique Water Puppet show. Hear the Vietnamese traditional instruments and singing from the live musicians who play throughout the show. The trip will be finished after the show at the hotel.

Day 3 Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)

08h00 – 08h30: Pick-up at hotel and start the 3 hour-and-a-half drive to Halong Bay
12h00 – 12h30: Embark on Calypso Cruiser followed by cruise briefing
13h00 – 15h30: Savor a delectable lunch as Calypso Cruiser cruise further along the limestone islands of Fighting Cock, Dog Rock and Incense Burner, to name a few
15h30 – 17h30: Visit Amazing Cave
17h30 – 19h00: Stop at Titop Beach. Go swimming, snap photos the overview of Halong Bay or just relax as the sun starts to set. Enjoy cooking class on the cruiser.
19h00: Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests or just laze around. Overnight on board.
Day 4 Halong Bay – Hanoi – fly to Nha Trang (B, L)

06h00 – 07h00: Start your day with swimming, exercise or photo hunt
07h00 – 11h00: Have breakfast at sunrise. Get your hand on some kayaking, visiting Luon cave. Head back to the Harbor. Disembark Calypso Cruiser at around 11h00
12h00 – 16h30: Transfer back to Hanoi and trip finishes at the hotel around 16h30
Day 5 Nha Trang at beach (B)
Today we are relax at beach

Day 6 Nha Trang - ISLANDS AND SNORKELING TOUR (B, L)

After breakfast at hotel. We start from our hotel to Cau Da port. Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island is the first place to visit, many sea species of Nha Trang/Khanh Hoa province make a small ocean world there. Mun Island is the best island for snorkeling where we can see lots of lives colorful corals and fish. Visit a fishing village and taking a fresh lunch at the island. On the way back we will be able to see caves in which the sea swallows make their nest.
Day 7 Nha Trang – fly to Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnel (B)

After breakfast at hotel, we transfer back to the airport for our flight to Saigon. Arriving in Saigon, we are welcomed by local tour guide then transfer to hotel.
In the afternoon, we will leave Saigon for the Cu Chi tunnels, otherwise known as the "Iron Triangle" or "Iron Land". On our way there we will drive through pleasant countryside; rubber plantations and rice paddies. Before entering the tunnels, we will see a short introductory video showing how they were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels, some of which have been widened to allow tourist access. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500lb bombs dropped by B52 bombers. After that we transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 8: Saigon – City tour – fly to Siem Reap (B,L)

Site visited: in Saigon: Reunification Palace, War Remnant Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post office; in Siem Reap: Phnom Bakheng temple for Sunset
We depart our hotel for the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace for the president of the South of Vietnam. After that we will visit War Remnant Museum, where you can see countless artifacts, photographs and pictures documenting about the second Indochina war. Before our lunch we stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post office to get our good shots for our memory of the biggest city in Vietnam.
Our delicious lunch will be served at a nice restaurant in the central city.
After lunch, we transfer to the airport for our flight to Siem Reap. Up on arrival in Siem Reap, we will be welcome and then we continue to Phnom Bakheng for Sunset. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 9: Angkor Temple Complex (B, L)

Sites visited: Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Elephant terrace, Terrace of leper king, Ta Prohm temple (Jungle temple)
Today, we will start our exploring of Angkor. Angkor Wat, classified as World Heritage by UNESCO, with its soaring towers and its extraordinary bas-reliefs. It is one of the most extraordinary monuments ever conceived by the human spirit, built in the 12th century in honor of Vishnu… Angkor Wat. In the afternoon, we will visit Angkor Thom beginning with the portal South… Designed by Jayavarman VII, the last king of Angkor has been a great builder. Angkor Thom is located in the middle of Angkor. It is surrounded by a moat and a powerful wall laterite (kraham dèy) of three square kilometers to one side. There are a lot of temple located in Angkor Thom complex as Bayon, Baphoun, elephant terrace and the Terrace of leper king, then we will continue to Ta Prohm (Jungle temple) built for king’s mother in the late of 12th century.
Day 10: Siem Reap – Departure (B)
Sites visited: Sun Rise at Angkor Wat, Tole Sap Lake, fish farms, fishing villages
Early morning we will enjoy the beautiful sunrise at Angkor, then return to the hotel for breakfast. This afternoon, we will enjoy Tonle Sap Lake, Asia’s largest inland lake also the biggest harvest fresh water fish in the world, which swells to ten times its normal size during the wet season; here we have a two-hours boat trip observing how local people go about their daily lives, during the boat trip we stop to visit a bird garden and a fishing farm, and also our boat driver will stop for us to visit the floating school which is a lot of the poor children study in this school, and they are the fisherman’s children. Then our driver will transfer us to the airport for flight out of Cambodia.
